Job description:
• Development and oversight of the BSA Currency Exchange functions, including management of BSA CYEX Personnel.
• Develop and manage the Currency Exchange program and provide subject matter expertise.
• Manage the CYEX enhanced due diligence process and investigation process of suspicious transactions and situations detected by the unit as a result of the review of specialized monitoring.
• Collaborate with other BSA Leaders and Officers for functions and processes related to the BSA CYEX Unit such as Governance, Currency Transaction Reporting, Alert review, SAR filing, OFAC/Sanctions escalations, and Model Development.
• Subject matter expertise in the review of Bank risk assessments, policies and procedures.
• Participate in examinations and audits to include: review and collect first day letter request items related to BSA Exams and Audits, regular interaction with Examiners and Auditors to ensure prompt and accurate responses and review all BSA related tracking report items, provide validation and procedural assistance as applicable.
