Robert Half is searching for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk eager to contribute their skill set to the rapid growth of a dynamic company. In this role, your responsibilities will include entering, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining a cash receipting journal, and updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. This rapidly growing team needs a self-starter to join the accounting team! You will process full-cycle AP and handle a large number of invoices per week, with high attention to detail. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role, based in the Scottsdale, Arizona region, is a permanent position.What you get to do every single day- Work with clients to solve payment issues; set up payment plans as needed- Follow standard procedures to execute general accounting tasks- Answer questions from shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders- Maintain, relate, and promote the mission, values and culture of the organization- Enter and balance financial data in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts- Handle monthly closings and annual reports, including processing payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP- Validate documents and codes
