This role will focus primary on the accounts receivables side and will interact with accounts payables as well. This Accounting Manager role is a permanent employment opportunity, based in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area.

Your responsibilities in this role include"

• Management of a 6-person team
• Responsible for the accurate posting of a high volume of customer payments (checks, cash, wires, and ACH transactions) and for maintaining daily reporting for these transactions.
• Ability to accurately cross key data between multiple systems.
• Accurately process manual miscellaneous billings, adjustments, credits, cash discounts, returned checks, and GL entries from multiple sources.
• Complete write-off entries and maintain write-off reporting for the finance department.
• Reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain general ledger, and prepare month-end close procedures.
• Work closely with the AP department which includes weekly balancing of the transactions in the AR and AP systems.
• Oversee the workflow prioritization and distribution for AR clerks and provide backup support when necessary.
• Create period receivable reports and and oversee the day-to-day collection effort, conducting collection calls and e-mails, and consistently following up with aged accounts.
• Perform credit checks
• Misc. responsibilities include processing internal/external audit documentation requests and the scanning of system-generated documents into the imaging system
• Possessing a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
