In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to accounting functions, including managing the general ledger, assisting with year-end closings, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. This role is pivotal in our team's ability to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the efficient operation of our accounting department.Responsibilities:• Oversee and manage general ledger operations• Assist in the month-end closing process and year-end closings• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions• Utilize PeopleSoft software for various accounting tasks• Assist with budgeting tasks and oversee the implementation of the purchasing card program• Handle accounting functions related to state and county funds• Utilize skills in fund accounting and non-profit fund accounting for various projects• Support the team with various accounting projects as needed.
