Position Overview:
The Accounting Assistant will provide administrative support to the accounting department by performing various clerical tasks, such as filing, data entry of invoices, processing vendor & customer payments, assist with prepping financial documents and other clerical related duties as requested.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with bank reconciliation, reporting and researching discrepancies
- Assist in accounts payable reports and maintain accounts payable files
- Assist in data entry of accounts payable invoices
- Processing payments
- Filing, scanning and copying of accounting and finance documents
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Purchasing & Receiving
- Inventory Maintenance
- Reconcile prior days till and prepare till for next day
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 years of accounting clerk/assistant experience
- Valid WA driver’s license & social security card required
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and 10-key
- Attention to detail
- Strong team player that can work well independently
- Experience in Epicor preferred
Working Conditions:
- This position is primarily an indoor position that spends the majority of their time inside at a desk.
- This position requires the individual to be on their feet for less than half of the day.
- This position involves daily use of computers, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
- This position is expected to interact with employees frequently throughout the day.
- This position will not be expected to lift more than 25lbs on a daily basis.
Position Direct Supervisor: Accounting Manager
Position Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:00am– 11:30am
Compensation & Benefits:
▪ Offering part-time position (20 hours per week) starting at $20.00 per hour
