The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations and overseeing the financial reporting process. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data. Responsibilities:• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and tax filings• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation• Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth and profitability• Stay current with accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices• Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) proficiently and demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
