The Accounting Clerk tasks will consist of matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a short-term contract / temporary to hire position based in the Santa Rosa, California area.
What you get to do every single day

• Post financial information to journals and ledgers
• Support Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance, and process daily invoices/credit
• Work with Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing
• Codify documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes
• Companywide accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
• Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
• Foundational knowledge in account reconciliation
• Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
• Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended
• Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request
