In this role, you will match invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, enter data and assist with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes. This permanent role is for an Accounting Clerk in the Lenexa, Kansas, area.How you will make an impact- Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices and disbursement filing and with A/P invoice matching & filing- Assist with other related duties and special projects as assigned- Accurately code documents with expenditure codes and accounting codes- Post financial information to journals and ledgers- Reconcile discrepancies, and prepare correction documents as needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts- Produce statements and reports using a variety of sources- Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance- Perform general accounting tasks, such as G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects
