Kansas Office of Judicial Administration is Hiring a Court clerk Near Olathe, KS

Position number : Multiple positions

Location of Employment : 10th Judicial District, Johnson County, KS

Position / Salary : Trial Court Clerk II, Grade 18 - $17.26 hourly (non-negotiable)

Work week requirements : Full-Time, 40 hr / week, Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm, year round, in-person

Kansas Judicial Branch Benefits :

Job duties : This position is in the Clerk of the District Courts Office. Duties will include assisting the public and answering phone calls / emails, scanning / quality checking of documents.

All other duties as assigned.

Required education and experience : High school diploma or equivalent and one-year experience in clerical work preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Knowledge of modern office management practices and procedures.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to understand court procedures and policies.
  • Skills in the operating of office equipment.
  • Must be able to work with some degree of independence and responsibility.
  • Must have good Customer services skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality.

Preferred qualifications :

  • Courteous, professional and cooperative.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.
