General Definition of Work

Performs work overseeing the EnVision Center, developing business relationships, engaging with the community to bring awareness to both community partners and residents, developing targeted programming, representing RRHA at leadership functions and presenting to other EnVision Centers throughout the nation, marketing programs and events to the community and residents, developing monthly calendars of events, promoting and overseeing successful events, and other work as apparent or assigned.

This position reports to the Director of Community Support Services.

Limited supervision is exercised over assigned work group.

Essential Functions

• Develops community partnerships to provide strategic opportunities to RRHA residents.

• Engages with community members and RRHA residents to garner participation in events and utilization of the EnVision Center.

• Works with partners to secure funding for various programs and develops initiatives directly related to the mission of RRHA.

• Educates RRHA residents and community members of monthly, weekly, and daily programming and develops strategies to gain attendance to these programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Business, Human Services, or related field, three (3) to five (5) years experience in case management, or one (1) to two (2) years of experience in program management, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

Master's Degree in Communication, Business, Human Services, or related field, three (3) to five (5) years experience in case management, or one (1) to two (2) years of experience in program management, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

Special Qualifications

Driving record acceptable to RRHA and its insurance carrier(s).

Valid driver’s license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Working Conditions

• Employees sit frequently or most of the time of the time but may sometimes walk or sometimes stand for periods of time.

• This classification involves physical agility requirements such as: climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, pushing, pulling, repetitive motions and manual dexterity.

• Sensory requirements include standard vision requirements, ability to convey detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly and standard hearing requirements.
