General Definition of Work

Performs work overseeing the EnVision Center, developing business relationships, engaging with the community to bring awareness to both community partners and residents, developing targeted programming, representing RRHA at leadership functions and presenting to other EnVision Centers throughout the nation, marketing programs and events to the community and residents, developing monthly calendars of events, promoting and overseeing successful events, and other work as apparent or assigned. Directly working with RRHA residents to recruit for the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program, meets regularly with an assigned FSS caseload.

This position reports to the Director of Community Support Services. Limited supervision is exercised over assigned work group.

• Develops community partnerships to provide strategic opportunities to RRHA residents.
• Works with partners to secure funding for various programs and develops initiatives directly related to the mission of RRHA.
• Educates RRHA residents and community members of monthly, weekly, and daily programming and develops strategies to gain attendance to these programs.
• Recruits individuals eligible for the FSS program, maintains a caseload of FSS clients, and meets regularly with clients
• Attends schedule EnVision Center events, which can take place at times outside the normal scope of work hours.
• Works with leased EnVision Center partners to compile data and share non-identifiable information as needed
• Work with Resident Services staff to promote opportunities through the EnVision Center.
• Work with the RRHA PR / Social Media Manager to promote EnVision Center events and outreach to RRHA residents and community partners.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Business, Human Services, or related field, three (3) to five (5) years experience in case management, or one (1) to two (2) years of experience in program management, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in case management
• 1-2 years of experience in program management

Special Qualifications

• Driving record acceptable to RRHA and its insurance carrier(s).
• Valid driver’s license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
