About Roambee
- Device inventory forecasting – the candidate will be responsible for managing physical inventory and develop inventory forecasting models by taking into account the sales forecast and its probability, the inventory in hand and the devices at the customer locations and its pickup schedule to ensure orders are fulfilled on time in full
- Device Procurement – Each device is procured/manufactured by a HW suppliers. To make these devices, the device supplier needs to be supplied with SIMs, serial numbers, latest firmware. Device delivery has to be coordinated with the cost effective courier company, applying the optimized HS and HTS codes and the right customs paperwork. The candidate will be responsible for owning the procurement of all device types and vendor/supplier relationships including contract creation, negotiations and pricing.
- Costing – the unit economics for shipping the devices to customers and/or Roambee locations and reverse pickup of the devices from various customer and Roambee locations has be to optimized. The candidate will be responsible for developing cost models and implementing with a network of courier service providers globally to ensure efficient and cost effective circulation of devices.
- Managing 3PL – Roambee US uses a California based 3PL for order fulfillment and returns. The candidate will be responsible for managing the 3PL including defining and measuring KPIs.
- Working with finance team – Roambee maintains an order book (all orders that are contracted by the customer) and revenue is realized only when orders are shipped against the order booked. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the revenue is realized faster through efficient delivery of devices to our customers.
- Device Health & RMA – Roambee has (is expanding) the team to ensure that all devices in circulation are healthy, in good quality and has the latest firmware. The candidate will manage this team to ensure that the device inventory for circulation is in good quality condition. The candidate will work with 3rd party device repair centers and in-house repair teams to ensure that devices are in proper working condition.
- Working with global team – The candidate will work and contribute to the success of operations team members in Singapore, India, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Dubai, Mexico and Brazil.
- Creating and Managing Foreign Trade Zones – Candidate will be responsible for creating a blueprint of Roambee’s FTZ network around the globe to ensure smooth movement of device inventory between Roambee hubs and liaison comply with customs and border security.
