Position: Sales and Project Manager

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Reports to: Branch Manager

Summary: The Sales and Project Manager is responsible for generating sales and maintaining a current customer account base. The Sales and Project Manager will represent RMS Crane & Rigging for the purpose of obtaining orders for our commercial construction Crane and Rigging services. Developing and penetrating new clients with the intent of establishing long-term relationships.

Salary Range: $75,000 to $95,000 annually DOE to include additional sales bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all your responsibilities in a safe, legal, professional, and ethical manner.
• Maintain effective relationships with established customers.
• Attains assigned territory sales objectives through territory management, planning, and development.
• Prepares quotes and coordinates with the dispatch office.
• Ability to read, interpret, and determine that an assigned crane can perform the lift by utilizing the Manufacture's load charts.
• Ability to verbally communicate safety issues to customers and internal workers.
• Answer incoming calls or emails, sizing crane work, and scheduling jobs with customers.
• Forward the bigger or more complex jobs to project managers as necessary.
• Set up new customers or COD accounts or send credit apps as needed.
• Input pertinent job information into FCC.
• Determine appropriate crane for a task, prepare quotes and coordinate with the dispatch office.
• Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.
• Attention to detail and punctuality are required.

Qualifications:

• Direct sales experience in a business-to-business environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience in prospecting for potential clients preferred.
• Self-Motivated and strong initiative to succeed is required.
• Experience in crane operations and proper rigging techniques preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of commercial construction sales preferred.
