Position Summary | Graduate Medical Education (GME) is searching for a motivated individual to implement a new billing system essential to managing over $50 million dollars of billing to our partner hospital systems. GME hires, credentials, and manages resident physicians participating in the final stages of medical education. This includes: internship, residency, sub-specialty and fellowship programs, leading to state licensure and board certification. GME provides the required data to all stakeholders that pay UNM for resident costs. These stakeholders include UNMH, ABQ Veteran’s Hospital, Lovelace, Presbyterian Medical Center and others. The IT Project Manager will plan, establish, and manage this project and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned project. Estimated 18-24 months implementation time-frame with set up, customization, and implementation. This position is a temporary position for a length of 2 years.
