Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate will use safe lifting techniques, efficiently sort, handl, and load/unload freight from over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and/or straight trucks by using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts in the loading and unloading of freight and other tasks as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions of a Warehouse Associate include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Operates all material handling equipment safely including standup forklift

• Working with different departments to meet demands of the business

• Communicating any issues to the supervisor that can arise from loading and unloading

• Keeping up to date with new systems and technology

• Performs all job tasks assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work well with a team

• Proficient in attention to detail

• Forklift certified (not required, we will train you!)

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
