Summary:

Director is responsible for all day-to-day clinical operations of the facility. Provides leadership and coordination of all disciplines to provide quality services to the residents of the facility. Acts as administrator in their absence.
Experience/Education Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree with 10 years experience or BSN Degree required.
  • Five years of progressive management experience in long-term care.

License or Certification Requirements:

  • Current Illinois RN licensure

Responsibilities:

  • Assumes full responsibility for the operation and management of the facility in the absence of the Administrator.
  • Assures multidisciplinary approach to resident care management activities.
  • Oversees MDS, RUGS, Care Planning activities, QI Program and IC.
  • Establish and monitor operational and capital budgets to ensure they are within approved parameters.
  • Knowledge of all State and Federal regulatory requirements.
  • Manages and provides leadership in financial matters regarding budgeting and cost control and revenue generation.
  • Participates and contributes to assigned committees, teams, task forces, including community service if applicable.
  • Policy and procedure development for clinical care, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines for all levels of care.
  • Provides leadership and direction for ensuring quality patient care.
  • Provides leadership and direction for improving patient/customer satisfaction.
  • Recruitment, training and ongoing performance evaluations competency of all staff under direction.
