Job Summary:

River Stone Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Sous Chef to lead our culinary team and ensure the successful execution of catering events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering unparalleled dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the culinary team to ensure the seamless execution of catering events, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Collaborate with event planners, clients, and other stakeholders to develop customized menus that meet the specific preferences and dietary needs of each event.
• Oversee menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation, ensuring creativity, innovation, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards, implementing proper procedures for food handling, storage, and cleanliness.
• Manage inventory levels, procurement, and supplier relationships to support catering operations and minimize waste.
• Monitor food costs, analyze financial performance, and implement cost-control measures to achieve profitability targets.
• Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, resolving conflicts and promoting open communication among team members.
• Stay informed about industry trends, culinary innovations, and emerging ingredients to enhance the catering experience and offerings.
• Represent River Stone Hospitality Group with professionalism and integrity, embodying our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
