Position Overview:

RIVA Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst / Tester to support our HHS FMP program which is part of our web-modernization portfolio. This person will be both analytical and strategic. They will be expected to be "data driven" with the ability to consume and digest information making it highly visible to a variety of stakeholders. Responsibilities:

• Responsible to work with stakeholders to define, collect and prioritize requirements
• Responsible to work as liaison between Product Owner and Technical team to produce clear business and technical requirements and assist with Sprint development tasks
• Responsible for creation of User Stories, Epics and process flows
• Responsible for JIRA Projects, users and workflows setup
• Conduct interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
• Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
• Develops test scripts, test result reports and performs system and integration testing
• Perform manual and performance testing of new software
• Assist with Automated testing activities

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience as Business Analyst
• Strong experience with JIRA implementation
• Strong experience writing User Stories
• Experience working with Agile teams, Scrum and Kanban Methodologies and ceremonies
• Hands on experience using Project Management tools such as JIRA
• Experience working with test management tools
• Knowledge of performance testing, automation testing frameworks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide broad program support to include communicating changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements
• Superior MS Office skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Experience with software testing is a plus
• Exposure to Java front-end and back-end development technologies, REST web services, testing automation tools like Selenium, Junit, CI/CD pipeline tools is a plus
• Knowledge of Federal accounting and business processes is a plus
