Job Summary:
The Account Manager will beresponsible for servicing a book of Commercial Lines accounts.
PrimaryResponsibilities and Duties:
Theduties of the Account Manager include, but are not limited to:
Responsiblefor servicing a commercial book of business-marketing, underwriting, servicing, renewal negotiation, risk analysis,consulting, problem resolution, reviewing and rating
Maintainproductive business relations and engage in extensive contact with clients,producers and underwriters
Ensureclient has continuous and proper coverage and advise client of any changerecommendations
Reviewcurrent policies and provide recommendations regarding placement options.Utilize coverage checklist and a network of industry contacts to determineappropriate coverage and premiums
Roundingout and cross selling book of business to reach agency/department growth goals
Responsiblefor the integrity of policies and related documents
Applyknowledge of coverages and forms to research and reconcile discrepancies
Participatein the development of new business and retention of renewal business. Interactwith producers to prepare specifications, applications, underwriting data andrelated information in the marketing of insurance products
Producebusiness proposals and deliver presentations to clients
Participatein business meetings, client conferences and educational seminars
Assistin coordinating reports for management
Manageall aspects of account administrations
Handlebookkeeping matters, including but not limited to: maintaining account receivables,monthly statement, not-paid-not-billed lists, and non-payment cancellations
Allother duties as assigned by management as needed
