Riggins Company, located in Hampton VA, is looking for a full-time Quality Control Inspector to join our QA/QC team and to become a key player in our growing and exciting company. We are a custom manufacturer specializing in the engineering, design, and manufacturing of major Naval projects, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels. Our customers are Navy, Naval Shipyards, Government, commercial, and the petrochemical industry. The successful candidate will need to be responsible, self-starter and motivated to excel.

This position requires performance of hands-on NDT and in process inspections in a physically demanding fabrication environment.

To be the successful candidate, you’ll need the following:

· Experience in the steel fab industry for 3 years minimum.

· Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.

· Familiarity with NDT Methods of VT, MT and PT. We will train and certify.

· Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 lbs.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time.

· Strong organization skills while multi-tasking in a high-pressure position.

· Computer skills for Microsoft Excel and ADOBE Acrobat.

· Ability to work OT and weekends as required. (EEO)
