Rider Kafer, P.C. seeks an associate attorney.
We are a downtown civil litigation law firm looking to add to our team. We prioritize providing excellent service and representation to our clients, while also maintaining reasonable work hours and a healthy balance with life and family outside of work. We offer a flexible remote-hybrid work arrangement, a collaborative and friendly work environment, and the opportunity to take a primary role on files and for advancement within the firm. Our practice includes a variety of types of civil matters, including insurance coverage and bad faith defense, general liability, trucking and transportation, construction, governmental defense, civil rights, and professional liability.
Job responsibilities will involve day-to-day handling of litigation matters, including preparation of pleadings and motions, preparing and responding to discovery, and conducting depositions and trial, as well as conducting investigations and providing legal advice and opinions in non-litigation matters. Successful candidates will have strong communication, research, and writing skills, as well as initiative, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities. Prior litigation, insurance, and/or judicial clerkship experience is preferred, but not required. Must be licensed in Colorado.
Salary range is $95,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience, plus twice yearly bonuses. Benefits include employer paid health and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution, and parking.
