The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the diagnosis, maintenance, repair and operation of all types of machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems either directly or with outside contractors.

Responsibilities

• Carries out preventative/predictive maintenance procedures as laid out by company and the manufacturer’s specifications.

• Perform regular checks on production equipment
• Complete repairs, modifications, and installations as required
• Keep the maintenance shop and work areas clean and organized as per GMP/ISO requirements
• Work with manager(s) to determine and address maintenance needs
• Assist with production and product handling when necessary
• Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3-5 years of demonstrated industrial maintenance experience; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities

• Demonstrated knowledge with 3 phase 208/480 power supplies
• Ability to run electrical conduit and make up connections
• Ability to operate and repair a forklift
• Highly accurate and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently with little instruction and can adapt to change
• High ethical standards
• Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timelines and responsiveness
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and make appropriate, timely and sound decisions
• Able to read work orders
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities efficiently (able to multi-task)to meet changing deadlines
