Hire Direct is interviewing motivated, experienced Maintenance Technicians to join an established, growing company in Ogden, Utah. As a Maintenance Technician, you will work in a highly automated facility, and conduct daily routine checks on equipment, and service machinery including but not limited to conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, labelers, etc. This position is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, team player traits, ability to work independently, and excellent technical ability.

Work Schedule: 12 Hour Workday. Rotating Work Schedule. Day Shift, Night Shift, Monday- Friday

Must have the flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Hourly Wage: $30.00 - $38.00 hr.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily routine checks on equipment to detect damage or needs for repairs on equipment.
• Service machines include but are not limited to conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, depalletizes, and labelers.
• Install, start, and shut down equipment following company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Carry out necessary logistics work, including receiving goods, preparation of goods for upcoming production orders, and loading of bulk products for shipment.
• Complete production line assignments, maintaining strict safety standards.
• Maintain and repair PLC, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment, machines, and all associated hardware with minimal supervision.
• Support operators when equipment malfunctions and work with them to correct the problem.
• Participate in the development of team members through training and collaboration.
• Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic in a beverage company.
• Excellent understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits is required.
• Electromechanical competency sensors, drives, HMI, etc.
• Industrial electrical up to 480 VACS
• Ability to read manuals and find parts and blueprints.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Fast learner and committed to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
