RHD/Lehigh Valley ACT is Hiring a Receptionist (FT) Near Bethlehem, PA

Lehigh Valley ACT's recovery-focused, multidisciplinary, assertive community treatment programs provide intensive, individual support for people in Lehigh and Northampton counties who are working to overcome the barriers to recovery from mental illness. Assertive Community Treatment Teams provide: Psychiatric assessment, medication education and monitoring, treatment for co-occurring disorders, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, psychosocial services and education (including Wellness Management and Recovery, SAMSHA evidence-based IMR) and intervention help strengthen the individual’s networks. Blended Case Management Services affords the collaborative coordination of services and resources supportive of recovery and growth. Individuals work with case managers to increase personal and financial independence, overcome barriers compromising access to treatment, build and expand capabilities in roles and relationships within the community and, acquire skills to support self-determination and self-management of the symptoms or challenges related to their illness. HUD funding allows LVACT to respond to the residential needs of participants who have been diagnosed with a serious, persistent mental illnesses and have histories of homelessness.

The Receptionist will respond to customers, both internal and external, as a service priority. This response includes, but is not limited to, telephone triage, supporting an effective and efficient office environment, and, identifying and participating in activities to eliminate barriers to good outcomes in business activities. Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Receptionist will assure that the ‘front office’, office operations are functioning well and will assume an active role in the identification of problems, assist in problem solving when the integrity of day to day business is impaired. $500 SIGN ON BONUS! Payrate commensurate of experience.
Essential Functions of the Position:
  • To identify and respond to the needs of the participants and staff in achieving efficient connections to personnel able to respond to requests and to eliminate barriers limiting productivity in day to day business.
  • To participate, as able, in archiving records and filing participant service documentation.
  • To develop the necessary format to produce needed reports and tracking information.
  • To participate in program QI and QA activities as requested. To support and participate in the Performance Improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in maintaining the required records accurately, comprehensively and in a timely manner.
  • Maintains an efficient, appropriate and comprehensive record and scheduling system.
  • Provides the on-call service with accurate information and updates on a daily basis.
  • Manages the agency vehicle utilization and schedules maintenance.
  • Cooperates with, participates in and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures and practices, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • To work in a collaborative and collegial manner with other staff both intra- and inter-agency in assisting both the program’s participants and the program to meet identified goals.
  • Insures the confidentiality of all participant and/or employee-related information.
  • Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
Qualifications:
  • The Receptionist must have a high school diploma or GED, and have a year of previous experience in a professional environment and the ability to make independent decisions regarding the most efficient process to complete requested work.
  • The Receptionist must be knowledgeable, flexible and able to respond appropriately and effectively to internal and external customers.
  • This individual must be organized, goal oriented and able to follow through with numerous responsibilities while insuring accuracy in work product outcomes. In person and during phone interactions, the receptionist must create a responsive, welcoming and respectful ‘front office’ environment. Bilingual candidates preferred. 
  • A valid driver's license is required.
