Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating and executing the strategy to generate reinsurance opportunities with assigned clients

o Assist in developing and maintaining a thorough plan for all accounts and execution of plans and strategy
o Contribute fully in the development of RGA Taiwan strategy including preparation work and participation in all brainstorming sessions

• Maintain current market knowledge

o Research, analyze, and develop new products and solutions for insurance company
o Stay up to date on local insurance standards
o Stay up to date on local insurance regulations with regard to reinsurance
o Stay up to date on the leading products in each of the distribution channels and share this knowledge with others.

• Assist in execution of reinsurance deals

o Assist in negotiating and structuring reinsurance agreements which reflect client and RGA business objectives.
o Manage and develop the projects by working with local colleagues, client, regulators, Head Office in an effective and efficient manner.

• Others

o Support in pricing work, product development work and treaty wording as assigned
o Lead or assist in organization of marketing event
o Other duties as assigned
Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of life insurance market and product pricing is preferred.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
