As an IT Regional Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and fostering a high-performing team. Your responsibilities will encompass both business development activities and leadership in team building and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and prospect new clients in the IT sector, including businesses seeking technology solutions and services.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand the company's client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to understand their business needs and align our offerings with their objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions that address client challenges and objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business opportunities while maximizing profitability.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team by providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members and provide regular feedback and coaching to help them achieve their targets.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and professional development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and expertise.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, customer-centric approach, and commitment to excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in IT sales or account management, with a focus on new business development. Must have staffing experience.
- Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including team building, coaching, and performance management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- A passion for staying updated on industry trends and advancements in technology.
