House Manager

Duties:

Live-in House Manager

Restoration Recovery Center is looking for a live-in house manager to help others in their path to recovery. This opportunity also includes FREE RENT! Apply today. THIS IS A LIVE-IN POSITION.

The Live In House Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe living atmosphere in a sober house environment. Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the House Manager will assist in client needs and monitor the clients while they are in the program. House Managers are responsible for documenting activities of daily living and will assist in facilitating the services required for treatment. House Managers also assist counselors with crisis management and program activities as needed.

In addition to free room and board house managers will do split shifts and are responsible for transporting clients to and from the outpatient facility, 12-step meetings, store runs, etc.

Job Description.

1. Provide a safe, supportive, and caring environment for clients to continue in recovery.

2. Daily transportation of clients to program, appointments, and shopping.

3. Support Director of Operations in inventory, ordering and maintaining supplies.

4. Ensure all work areas are kept clean and safe.

5. Follow and uphold all Restoration Recovery Center Policies and Procedures.

6. Accurate and correct clinical and medical documentation of clients.

7. Handling food service utensils and equipment.

8. Maintain required accreditation licensure documentation.

9.Additional special projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES: THIS LIST IS NOT ALL-INCLUSIVE.

1. Monitor and report client behavior and medication side effects.

2. Vehicle upkeep and conformance with Vehicle Safety Binder and Vehicle Safety Inspection

3. Client attendance of daily program activities as scheduled

4. Participate in mandatory ongoing Health and Safety training

5. Maintain a positive attitude and treat each client as an individual

6. Facilitate weekly house meetings to discuss internal conflict, review house rules and accept requests from clients for follow-up with providers.

7. Conduct emergency drills when announced by Safety Officer.

8. Refer clients to his/her therapist/counselor

Additional special projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.

1. GED or High School Diploma

2. Valid California driver’s license

3. Minimum 180 days of sobriety if in recovery

Required Qualifications.

2. Exceptional Organizational Skills

3. Current First Aid/CPR certification.

4. Current T.B. clearance.

Preferred Qualifications.

1. Experience in Substance Use Disorder field

2. Ability to communicate effectively and develop rapport with clients in a treatment setting

3. Experienced in Sober Living Environment housing

Job Type:Full-time

Salary:$19.00 per hour, plus free room and board . Their will be another house manager living at same location so schedule can flexible the director of operations will assign the schedule but at times the applicate and current house manager can switch shifts.
