We're looking to hire a Sr Manager, Software Engineering to lead our Popeyes app and web team.
We are looking for an exceptional full-stack engineering manager with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for mentorship to help us tackle the exciting and expanding technical opportunities ahead.
The infrastructure we are putting in place supports millions of users on a variety of platforms. This role represents an opportunity to create innovative products and technologies with a small, high-impact team that develops technology for some of the world's largest brands.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with product management and other business stakeholders to ensure projects meet business objectives and comply with best practices and standards.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle for software development from requirement analysis to architecture/design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Establish and track performance metrics to ensure software quality and team productivity.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and excellence within our technology stack.
• Contribute to hands-on development and code review as needed to guide team members through complex technical challenges.
• Ensure the creation of comprehensive documentation for software architecture and design.
• Drive best practices and engineering excellence as part of a positive and cohesive team
• Provide detailed and constructive design and code reviews to software engineers
• Create and design testing frameworks for the engineering team.

Required Skills:

• 5-7 years of engineering experience working on consumer facing products and services
• Experience leading teams of 10
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks, React Native, React.js and Node
• Experience using modern Javascript build and packaging systems
• Familiarity with serverless technology on AWS
• Experience with both functional and object-oriented programming patterns
• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational database systems and their tradeoffs in practice
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for mentorship, coaching, and leadership
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields
