Sales and Business Development Executive
Location: Scottsdale, Arizona
About Us: Resort Housekeeper is a leading provider of hospitality services in the Arizona market. We specialize in delivering exceptional housekeeping and guest services to resorts, hotels, and vacation properties. As we continue to expand our client base, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team.
Role Overview: The Sales and Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in driving new account acquisition and business growth. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in B2B sales, particularly in securing large contracts within the hospitality industry. While extensive housekeeping or janitorial experience is not required, an understanding of our services and the Arizona hospitality market is essential.
Responsibilities:
  1. Client Relationship Development:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
    • Identify and research prospects within the hospitality sector.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to create mutually beneficial proposals.
  2. Contract Negotiation and Execution:
    • Negotiate contract terms with clients and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
    • Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed.
  3. Market Insights and Presentations:
    • Gather valuable information from customer and competitor data.
    • Create and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.
  4. Process Implementation and Pipeline Management:
    • Develop and implement processes and policies to support overall business growth.
    • Track, identify, and add qualified prospects to the sales pipeline.
    • Manage strategic partnerships to expand our market presence.
  5. Proposal Tracking and Market Research:
    • Regularly track and report on the status of proposal components.
    • Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed about industry trends.
  6. Pricing and Contract Preparation:
    • Collaborate to create competitive rate proposals.
    • Drive the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract submission.
  7. Strategic Thinking:
    • We seek someone who can think strategically and contribute to the long-term growth of our business. The ability to identify market trends, anticipate client needs, and align sales strategies accordingly is crucial.
  8. Proven Track Record:
    • Demonstrable track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets. Metrics such as revenue growth, client retention, and deal size are essential indicators of success.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, specifically handling large contracts (preferably within the hospitality industry).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
