Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various medical settings. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Duties: - Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate - Assist healthcare professionals with examinations, procedures, and treatments - Administer basic life support when necessary - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy to accurately document patient information - Assist with coding and billing processes - Provide excellent patient service and ensure patient comfort during their visit - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Skills: - Proficient in performing vital signs measurements - Knowledge of basic life support techniques - Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy - Experience in internal medicine or hospital medicine settings is preferred - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in using electronic medical record systems We offer competitive pay for this full-time position.
