Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks. Duties: - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs - Conduct inspections of facilities to identify any maintenance needs or safety hazards - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants - Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) - Fabricate and install various fixtures, equipment, and structures as needed - Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for larger maintenance projects - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols - Provide exceptional customer service to staff, tenants, and visitors Qualifications: - Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field - Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in various trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC) - Ability to weld and fabricate as needed - Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions - Basic understanding of building codes and regulations - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written - Customer service-oriented mindset - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment - Leadership skills to supervise external contractors when necessary We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
