USUI International is Hiring a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Near Chesapeake, VA
- Responsible for: machinery installation, facilities functionality, equipment maintenance/repairs
- Provides: support for production and engineering
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Performs routine facilities maintenance and cleans/assists with upkeep of the facility.
- Plans repair work using blueprints, drawings, or equipment manuals as needed.
- In-house tooling repairs
- Automated program repairs
- Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment repairs
- Installation of new equipment
- Preventive maintenance on all machines as needed
- Follow Lock out Tag out processes and procedures
- Follow all safety protocols
- All other duties as assigned
- Minimum of two year’s experience in electro-mechanical work(required)
- If trained at USUI, must have successfully completed Maintenance Apprentice program
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent (required)
- Knowledge and use of hand and power tools.
- Lock out/Tag out procedure
- SPCC procedure (will train)
- Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word) (preferred)
- Strong verbal communications
- Strong math skills
- Willing to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed
