Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute a wide range of events, including conferences, meetings, , and social gatherings
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and timeline management
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and ensure their needs are met
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services
- Manage event budgets and ensure expenses are within allocated limits
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, including coordinating with staff and volunteers
- Provide exceptional guest services throughout the event to ensure a positive experience for attendees
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events in a calm and professional manner
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities during events
Requirements:
- Proven experience in event planning and management
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to negotiate contracts and manage budgets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies and techniques is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
Compensation: This Position has a the base of $50,000/Year plus a commission percentage.
