**Year-Round Work - Firestop Maintenance Technician - $60/day Per Diem!!**

Remedi8 is hiring Firestop Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, repairs and installations on a variety of firestop systems within existing hospitals nationwide. This position is full-time, year-round work, must be willing to travel 100% and based out of Indianapolis, IN

Experience:

• 1 year of experience working with basic tools
• Plus, but not required, previous construction, painting, finish carpentry, caulking, insulation, and drywall finish work

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of computers and computer software (Microsoft Office)
• Experience in reading blue prints/schematics
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements
• Familiarity with electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairs
• Training in safety protocols (Osha 10)

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Inspect firestop barriers per NFPA requirements and document inspection results using a tablet
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
• Installing access doors in ductwork & hanging drywall
• Ensure professional appearance and respectful interactions with all customers, staff, and general public

Requirements:

• Submit a TB test, vaccination blood tests & vaccinations (Flu, MMR, Varicella, etc.)
• Valid Drivers License and be eligible to rent a vehicle (21 years old)
• Must be able to travel nationwide on a 10 day on, 4 day off rotation continuously
