We are now hiring experienced staff to work with ID/DD Adults in our Residential CLA Program settings.

Wednesday 7am-3pm
Thursday 7am-3pm
Friday 7am -3pm
Saturday 7am-3pm

Job Location: Northeast (Torresdale) Philadelphia
Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time and On Call
Applicants must be able to work weekend shifts and all holidays.
Hiring for the following shifts weekdays and weekends: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year experience working with IDD/DD and Autism.
Applicants must have a valid State of PA Drivers License and clean driving record
Applicants must have a current physical screening which states they are free from communicable disease and current TB screening
Applicants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
Applicants must have and be able to provide all requested documentation to be considered for an interview.

In the role of Direct Care Staff you will:
- Provide intensive support to consumers living with Intellectual Disabilities in a residential setting
- Work closely with the clinical team to provide individually designed behavior plans to decrease problem behavior while increasing adaptive more appropriate responses.
- Work with clients on daily living skills in a structured, therapeutic environment.
- Be a role model for appropriate social skills.
- Observe and collect data for resident's behavior plan.
- Transport residents to appointments and outings as required.
- Provision of ADL's (bathing, toileting assistance, preparing meals, feeding, dressing, transporting) within a therapeutic environment, to obtain consistent routine and skills through teachable moments.
- Housekeeping and meal preparation
Minimum Education, Credentials and Experience to be presented at interview are:
- At least 18 years or older
- Current Physical Exam and TB Screening
- Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19
- State of PA Criminal Background Check
- Federal Background check if applicant has not been a resident in Pennsylvania for two years.
- 1 Year verifiable work history in field with good references
- Proof of High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities is required
- State of PA Drivers License
- Smart Phone
