Description

As we continue to expand, we seek a talented System Administrator (Network Analyst) to contribute to our ongoing success.

Position Overview: As a System Administrator (Network Analyst), you will ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of our client's server environments. You will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and monitoring server systems to meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in Microsoft server technologies and a passion for delivering exceptional IT support.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Server Administration (Windows and Linux) - includes server installation, upgrades, and configuration; server roles, storage, Active Directory, domain configurations, and Group Policy; file, print, and web services; remote access, virtualization, application servers; troubleshooting, performance; and reliability.
  • VMware administration—Manages the company's VMware environment, including storage and network management. Job duties include installing new VMware software, provisioning virtual servers, monitoring performance, developing more effective techniques, and troubleshooting problems.
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server (on-premise) for email and all associated communications appliances (Spam filter, archiver, etc.). Have Exchange Online planning and implementation experience.
  • Microsoft SharePoint Administration (on-premise): Upgrades and daily administration of SharePoint sites, user access, and permissions. Configure and maintain SharePoint servers, troubleshoot issues, monitor system performance, and provide technical support. Collaborate with business units to ensure smooth operations, security, and optimization of SharePoint environments within the organization.
  • Network Administration: Responsible for installing, monitoring, troubleshooting, integrating, and upgrading network infrastructure, including hardware and software components. Monitors and troubleshoots network activity.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as patch management, software updates, and system backups.
  • Monitor server performance and resource utilization to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot server hardware and software issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement server infrastructure solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Ensure compliance and participation with security policies and procedures, including user access controls, data encryption, Multifunction Authentication, Security Incident Response, and vulnerability management.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients regarding server-related issues and desktop inquiries.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge-sharing and reference purposes.

Requirements

  • An associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and five (5) years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience and special certifications such as A , Network , and Microsoft certifications.
  • Proven experience as a Microsoft System Server Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems, including Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other Microsoft server technologies.
  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Strong understanding of server hardware, virtualization technologies, and storage systems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, VMware, or CompTIA Server are a plus.
