Job Description Summary The HRIS Analyst will provide functional support for all HR applications. This individual will leverage their expertise to contribute to and support HR system implementations, upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Job Description Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include: Key Job Functions Support the Workday Suite of Applications, providing functional administration, end user support and training. Maintain issues and enhancement list and review weekly with the HRIS Director. Releases & New Functionality: Research new releases and upgrades and provide recommendations regarding their use by the organization. Support projects to rollout new modules and functionality including scope documentation, design, UAT testing, and implementation. Training & Communication Develop user procedures, guidelines and training materials including videos built within Workday. Communicate and train application updates as made available by Workday. Train employees on functionality and use of Workday as required. Technical Support: Support the integration management; understanding current integrations, support new interface development and validate requirements. Work with IT to ensure data integration interface and mapping between Workday and Active Directory is accurate. Partner with IT to maintain and upkeep feeds to external systems and vendors, background checks, job boards etc. Work with the benefits department and assist with the yearly open enrollment process. Test and support workday configuration for all Workday applications (HCM, recruiting, benefits, performance and compensation). Other: Partner with managers & HR groups (benefits, compensation, talent) on special projects as requested. Ownership and Maintenance of SharePoint sites for HRIS group. Deliver Passionate & Engaging Service to our Guests You will be passionate and truly engaged in taking care of our guests, recognizing individual guests and anticipating their unique needs in order to exceed their expectations You will consistently deliver our GUEST model: Greet or welcome everyone, warmly with a smile Use eye and ear contact and guest’s name Establish/anticipate needs Solve and own all requests/complaints Thank everyone Build solid relationship with your Colleagues Treat colleagues with respect and dignity Work with payroll team as necessary on integration points (ADP payroll) Participate in the Workday Community and User Groups for the benefit of advancing Sonesta needs and requirements Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description. Qualifications and Skills A candidate for this position must possess the following applicable knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to demonstrate and provide applicable examples to support his/her competency. Must have 3-5 years minimum of Workday experience: Configurable Security Fundamentals, Business Process Fundamentals and HCM Transactions Preferred HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Performance and Advanced Compensation Project management discipline and process prior experience Experience with help desk ticking systems (Service Now, Fresh Service etc) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Software, advanced excel skills preferred Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and results driven environment.
