Refuge Services Group Inc. is looking for Security Officer Professionals that possess superior customer service skills as they are a prerequisite for employment. Duties Include:

• Monitor surveillance and security alarm systems.
• Provide assistance to business owners in emergency situations.
• Keep detailed logs and records of incidents at assigned locations.
• Other duties assigned by Refuge Services Group Inc.
• Write detailed and accurate reports utilizing company technology and web or app-based software during each shift that align with site instruction/post orders.
• Consistently arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, meet time commitments, follow instruction, follow dress code and appearance standards and expectations.
• Interacting with internal and external customers on site cultivating a customer service relationship striving to provide peace of mind.
• Consistently communicates with the Advanced Patrol Officer and or the Branch Patrol Supervisor to promptly report any customer or property related information and concerns.
• Responsible for the care of any RSG Security equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards, uniforms, and devices, etc.
• Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Branch Patrol Supervisor such as reporting standards and service quality.
• Consistently deescalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.
• Report and appropriately address fire alarms, burglary alarms, requests for assistance and criminal acts; including but not limited to: vandalism, theft, illegal entry or attempted entry, suspicious behavior, domestic or workplace violence, threats, speed or other vehicle violations, illegal drug use, inappropriate use of facility or client equipment or property.
• Stop, screen, inquire, and inspect vehicles and pedestrians entering and / or exiting the facility as directed by post orders, rules, regulations, guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Military or law enforcement background preferred.
• Must have a valid Florida Security Class D & Class G License.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• A professional appearance and demeanor.
• Able to stand and or sit for extended periods of time.
• Must have their own firearm.
• Always alert and ready.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Excellent with problem-solving.
• Adaptable to an ever-changing environment.
• Works well with a team, and is able to lead when needed.
• Operate a smartphone efficiently.
