About The Role:
Red Technologies is looking for a tenured, engaging Application Support Manager to rise to the challenge of coordinating its application support, workflow, and support staff.
Responsibilities:
- The application support manager role will be responsible for bridging the gap between our software and our application users while feeding back to development staff as necessary
- Manage and delegate work to the application support team to ensure best in class response for software bugs and downtime incidents
- Willing to engage in frequent back-and-forth communication between SaaS (Software as a Service) customers, application users, product owners, and application developers
- Responsible for defining, adjusting, and maintaining the application user support pipeline
- Capable of performing application triage and basic data scrutiny (API service monitoring, website uptime and availability, data integrity and presence via SQL)
- Collect application runtime errors using a variety of tools and assemble well-written, actionable work items to address issues via developer intervention
- Lead incident management activities and generate documentation for application support and releases
- Oversee the creation and routine execution of application testing, both manual and automated
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in CNIT/MIS or similar technical experience and exposure
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Experience with JIRA and related workflow
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL/RDBMS (SQL Server)
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience
- Position may require up to 10% domestic travel
Skills:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common IT and application issues
- Management or structured leadership and delegation experience
Pay Information: $105,000 - $125,000
