Realty Restoration LLC is Hiring a Part-Time Bookkeeper Near Austin, TX
Part-time Bookkeeper wanted for family-oriented, low-drama remodeling contractor. This is a part-time (18-20 hours), hourly position, in-office. The weekly schedule is to be determined with the company President and will be within normal business hours of Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm – actual working time is flexible and can be during school hours. $50 - $60/hour, depending on experience.
Job requirements:
- Accounts payable, including timely and accurate preparation of checks and online payments.
- Prepare and send client invoices as needed.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Prepare and file SUTA, FUTA, and monthly sales tax.
- Input all credit card activity and balance all accounts monthly.
- Maintain client payment records.
- Process payroll for staff and contractor payments, including quarterly reporting as required by law and issuing year-end W-2 and 1099 forms.
- Work with outside auditors as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of information learned and used.
- Ensure the integrity of the company’s financial operations, maintaining efficient internal controls following its financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal laws applicable to position responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned as needs arise.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in bookkeeping, accounting, or related field from an accredited college or university or comparable experience.
- Thorough understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting rules.
- Must be proficient in Quickbooks Desktop. Experience with Job Tread preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Good oral and written communication skills
- A proven record of trustworthiness and honesty
- Three plus years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably for remodeling/construction.
- Ability to work with others, including staff, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 20 per week
