Brown Distributing is a local, family-owned beverage distributor in Austin seeking new part-time Team Members! We represent a variety of brands including Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, White Claw, and Karbach, as well as many local and regional craft brands. This is an amazing opportunity to LEARN THE BEER BUSINESS and potentially lead to full-time employment at Brown or an experience with one of our many suppliers like Anheuser-Busch InBev.
We will work around YOUR schedule, allowing you to have time to go to class, study for your exams, while still enjoying fulfilling work that can lead to a career within a very dynamic industry.
Our Part-Time Warehouse Associates assist the warehouse in all facets of the position - from order picking, to repackaging, to restocking. There are a plethora of knowledge and skills for you to discover.
Have a desire to see other departments of the company? Our Part-Time Team Members can assist with every department! There are opportunities to assist our merchandising team service our accounts, help out at marketing events, and much more!
Certain activities may be physically demanding, requiring you to lift a case of beer, a keg, or utilize a dolly or various machinery. Do not worry – we offer paid training and will teach you everything you will need to know while you learn the business. Most people enjoy drinking beer, but do not understand how it actually gets to the bars, restaurants, convenience and grocery stores – this is where we come in! We believe in working hard, while loving what you do, and it is a motto we live by day to day at Brown Distributing.
