Real Property Management Solutions is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance and handyman tasks. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our managed properties.

Responsibilities:

- Inspect and replace smoke and CO alarms as needed and ensure all smoke and CO alarms are in compliance with safety regulations.

- Perform minor construction tasks, such as repairing drywall, patching holes, and fixing minor structural issues

- Assist in small-scale remodeling projects.

- Address minor plumbing issues, including leaky faucets, clogged drains, and basic plumbing repairs.

- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential plumbing issues.

- Replace light fixtures, switches, and outlets.

- Troubleshoot and perform basic electrical repairs

- Conduct painting tasks for touch-ups and minor renovations.

- Ensure a uniform and aesthetically pleasing appearance of properties.

- Inspect, repair, and replace appliances as needed.

- Coordinate with vendors for major appliance repairs or replacements.

- Perform basic carpentry tasks, such as repairing or installing doors, windows, and cabinets.

- Address any issues related to wooden structures.

- Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property, including landscaping tasks.

- Ensure a clean and well-maintained appearance of outdoor spaces.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from property managers.

- Troubleshoot and address various issues to maintain the property in optimal condition.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks and handyman skills.

- Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.

- High attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
