READY-2-XECUTE is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Indianapolis, IN
Role
The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Controller. Maintains and controls the General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization, applying the Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP) that includes analytical work and thorough review of the financial records.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process invoices and prepare ACH and check payments
- Process daily carrier pay invoices through Triumphpay
- Prepare daily EFS posting of carrier payments and maintain proper funding to the EFS account
- Review and post expense reports
- Prepare journal entries
- Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations
- Assist with preparing and analyzing the monthly financial statements
- Assist with the preparation of the month covenant reporting to the bank
- Assist with year-end 1099’s
- Assist with annual audits
- Assist with presenting monthly financial reports to the Executive team
- Various special projects from the Controller
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Recent graduate to 3 years of related experience
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required
- Microsoft excel skills required
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
