READY-2-XECUTE is Hiring an Account Representative Near Indianapolis, IN

Job Information

Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Duties and Responsibilities

The Account Representative is responsible for supporting and working with an established National Account Manager (NAM) to drive revenue. The Account Representative is focused on identifying and growing new and existing business by presenting READY-2-XECUTE customers with our newest transportation services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct (secondary) contact with each Regional Transportation Manager and key decision makers
  • Customer facing
  • Securing freight
    • Answering coverage emails
    • Quote on FAM
    • Proactively reach out about freight opportunities
  • Operations and service quality that ensure:
    • All customer emails are answered within a timely manner
    • All loads are covered
    • All covered loads have Macropoint, correct planning comment, and appropriate call in notes
    • All loads are fully progressed from pickup to delivery
    • All loads in delivered status have paperwork collection progression
    • Loads are marked ready to bill in a timely manner
    • Awareness of customer KPI’s and working to reach/overachieve them
  • Handle and solve complex problems
    • Handle returns/diversions directly with customer
    • Handle pickup/delivery issues
    • Handle difficult carriers
    • Handle claims with customer
    • Handle billing issues directly with R2X billing team
  • Stay up-to-date with market conditions
    • Set appropriate price targets
    • Know when to lower or raise price targets based on capacity
    • Make final decision on appropriate price to book loads
    • Handle RFP’s
    • Report to National Account Manager if any drastic rate changes are needed
  • Delegate tasks as needed
  • Take responsibility of FRT code performance
  • Responsible for after hour escalations, can delegate as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Ability to work 8am- 5pm
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communications skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong analytical skills

Compensation

  • Consists of base salary commission
