Overview:
Come join the best masonry company in the Valley! Join our team as a Junior Accountant where you will work closely with our accounting department and Controller of the company. You will also serve as an assistant to the Controller, helping with other company related duties.
Duties:
- Monthly account reconciliations
- Backup to accounts payable department
- Monthly sales tax reporting
- Assists controller with payment to vendors
- Monthly WIP reporting
Will work closely with Controller of the company as an assistant on other projects such as various accounting entries, business filings, contract negotiations, payroll, and insurance programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience working for a Construction Subcontractor
- Quickbooks Desktop and Microsoft Suite of Programs
Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
