Job Details

job summary:

We are looking for a Client Technologies Technician with 1-2 years of experience to join our growing team! This is a fully 100 % remote role in the sunny state of Florida! If you are interested and looking for work, please apply!

6 Month to Year contract!

The Technician provides 2nd tier support and configuration for packaged and custom applications with the FLVS organization. Specifically, the Technician implements and supports technology systems for business applications including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) in addition to other Line Of Business (LOB) applications used by the organization such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Information Management Systems (SIMS). The Technician is required to provide weekly status reports to their supervisor in the Information Technology (IT) department.

Required Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • One year of IT work experience as a Client Technologies Technician
  • Any Microsoft, Apple or ITIL Certification, preferred
  • Experience with set up, configuration, and support of specific business application packages including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Experience with programming and .NET technologies, preferred

Responsibilities:

- Provide set up and configuration of applications - Provide 2nd tier support for business applications within the enterprise

- Develop recommendations for enhancing approaches for software support service

- Develop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced

- Analyze performance of programs and takes action to correct deficiencies - Provide a minimum of weekly status report updates for current projects

- Provide consultation for the evaluation of packaged applications

- Provide the implementation, configuration and deployment of new packaged software application

- Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others

- All work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals and/or targets established
