People Operations Coordinator

As the People Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day to day activities and projects for People Operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating recruiting activities, managing our payroll vendor and benefits administration, managing the on boarding process for new hires, and maintaining employee information in our HRIS, file sharing system, and external reporting platforms. This position is Full-Time and Remote and will report to the Head of Business Optimization.

Position Responsibilities

  • Confirm the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
    • Managing the drafting and releasing of future revisions to the Employee Handbook
    • Reviewing company HR templates on a periodic basis.
  • Facilitate projects that enhance the Radian Employee Experience while incorporating Radian Core Values.
    • Facilitating employee performance reviews and periodic check-ins
    • Implementing improvements to the Total Rewards Program by assessing compensation, benefits and perks based on employee feedback and industry benchmarking
    • Ensuring staff feedback is routinely reviewed and acknowledged by management. Utilizing opportunities such as the monthly staff meeting to highlight “wins” and notify staff of process changes.
    • Collaborating with the various stakeholders and vendors to produce in person employee events
  • Manage the new hire on boarding process.
    • Assisting the new hires with various on boarding tasks (completion of required HR forms, acknowledgement of company policies, enrollment in company sponsored benefits, identifying software and workstation requirements, etc)
    • Coordinating with new hires and the IT department to ensure they are well-equipped for their position on their schedule start date.
    • Facilitating new hire reporting within the HRIS tool and third-party systems
  • Manage our payroll and benefits administration vendors, tools and internal processes.
    • Managing our PEO & Benefits Administrator (Sequoia One PEO)
    • Facilitating routine processes & reporting (review of payroll roster, benefits enrollment, 401(k) enrollment, tax agency registration & reporting, etc).
  • Facilitate various stages of the recruiting process.
    • Drafting and publishing job postings on the Applicant Tracking System (BambooHR)
    • Scheduling and conducting phone screens for potential candidates
    • Coordinating with external recruiting services as needs are qualified

Required Qualifications

  • 3 -5 years of previous HR work experience.
  • Willing to work both individually and as a member of a diverse team.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, and the ability to communicate with others clearly and effectively at all levels, both within and beyond the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through on tasks and projects in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and strong work ethic with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ability and genuine desire to understand other people and value individual differences (cultural, philosophical, racial, religious, gender, lifestyle, etc.)
  • Ability and genuine desire to help/serve internal customers & meet their needs. 

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Organizational Awareness: Ability to understand relationships and predict how situations will affect individuals and groups within the organization
  • Experience with HR management of distributed or multi-site organizations
  • Experience in preparing management level briefings and summaries
  • PHR / SPHR or equivalent certification

  • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
