Overview:

The mission of the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) is to protect and promote public health. CDRH assures patients and providers have timely and continued access to safe, effective, and high-quality medical devices and safe radiation-emitting products. Rackner will be working with CDRH to help develop a comprehensive multi-faceted system to streamline FDA’s capability to use state-of-the-art approaches to generate and evaluate clinical evidence for regulatory decision-making, including advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML).

Job Overview:

Rackner is seeking a Senior Software Developer to Senior software developer to design, test, and implement new and updated software programs. Lead the development team with all software to ensure projects are completed to specifications. The Senior Software Developer will oversee the development and implementation of new software systems or update existing systems. Will code applications, create reports, and provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

· Experience with AI and machine learning libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch) and understanding of AI algorithms and data processing.

· Skilled in database technologies, both SQL (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB) and the ability to integrate with AI systems

· Experience with DevOps practices, cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement efficient, scalable solutions.
