RAB Lighting, an established leader in the LED lighting industry, is seeking a Director of IT with a proven track record of supporting organizational strategy through hands-on execution. If you have a passion for technology and excel in a collaborative team environment, we want to hear from you!
The Director of IT will collaborate closely with our in-house software development team to provide technology solutions for our national and global operations. RAB IT is critical to our business operations, providing crucial support to 6 distribution centers across the US and multiple international locations. The team offers essential services to our remote hybrid workforce that relies on the 100% cloud-based infrastructure maintained by our IT team.
The ideal candidate is a professional with strong technical abilities to guide our current team. This individual will be responsible for managing all IT systems and processes within the company, including IT infrastructure, systems and security, and support services.
Job Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives to align with business objectives
•Develop and mentor a team of IT professionals and support staff
•Monitor and manage IT systems, networks, and infrastructure for optimal performance and reliability
•Establish IT policies, procedures, and standards, and ensure compliance and security
•Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify IT needs and provide technological solutions
•Efficiently manage the IT budget and resources
•Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies and drive continuous improvement
Position will require visits to RAB's New York City or Cranbury, NJ location at least once a month.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree a plus
•Proficiency in IT systems, networks, security, and software development
•Proven success in managing IT projects and initiatives
•5 years of experience in IT management roles, particularly in manufacturing or technology firms
•Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
