Facilities Supervisor - Atlanta, GA - Monday to Friday 8 : 00AM-5 : 00PM

The Facilities Supervisor will work with vendors, troubleshoot repairs, respond to emergency calls, procure materials, implement and maintain policies.

• Respond to occupant temperature / airflow adjustment requests, modifies temperatures and airflow quantity and flow patterns as required.
• Implementing, monitoring and maintaining standard operation policies and procedures.
• Standardize all vendors used by Quest Diagnostics.
• Coordinate all annual inspections, i.e. backflow, fire system, sprinkler system, EPA and any county and state mandated inspections.
• Recommend revisions to preventive maintenance programs to increase program effectiveness.
• Developing and maintaining a Paperless work order program.
• Prioritize all work orders and contact outside vendors when indicated.
• Determine type, quantity and procure material required for new installations, designates and maintains inventory levels of spare parts and material required for routine maintenance and repairs.
• Perform maintenance / repair of the interior & exterior lighting systems, including emergency evacuation lighting fixtures and exit signs.
• Maintaining all outside vendor contracts and agreements.
• Responding to emergencies 24 / 7. (24 hour on-call)
• Responsible for the landscaping at the facility
• Responsible for Security.

Supervision Exercised :

This position does not have direct reports, however, the position is responsible to arrange for and coordinate the activities of contracted personnel, coordinate implementation of services with the appropriate Quest Diagnostics department management to limit interference with departmental operations and to supervise maintenance personnel assigned to assist this position with the completion of assigned tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience :

• 5 - 7 year experience in facilities management.
• Practical experience in the following : Electrical, HVAC, Generator and UPS operation, fire alarms and building security.
• Previous supervisory and / or team lead experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPA and compliance regulations.

Previous supervisory and / or team lead experience preferred.

Physical and Mental Requirements :

Able to lift heavy objects.

Knowledge :

Familiarity with HIPA and compliance regulations.

Skills :

• Able to successfully work with a diverse group of individuals.
• Able to lift heavy objects.
• Computer proficient. Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Detail-oriented individual.

High School Diploma or Equivalent(Required)

Bachelor's degree (preferred)
